N: If I saw correctly there was smoke coming out of Sonia's ears...Kovind did not name any Nehru or any Gandhi in his speech...

M: Why a Presstitute has even complained there was too much pomp and pageantry...this lot had no such issues in the past ..

N: And you have Mani 'Motormouth ' Aiyer penning an article welcoming Pranab Da back ..saying Congress would benefit from his experiences..

M: Ha ha... would the ex President of India...ex Commander in Chief ..... like to become a Minion of Sonia again...you think he's forgotten his spat with PC and how the Gandhi's sided with PC...

N: I recall the pics at that time ....Pranab Da looked so full of anger that he could have 'exploded'..

M: I think he will keep an arm's length from Active Politics ...Sonia would be welcome to meet him at his home ...I think he will spend his time reading and penning his Autobiography...which would be a cause of worry for Sonia!

N: What if Sonia dangles bait...we will make you our Presidential candidate if we come to power...

M: Would he like to be a 'truly' rubber stamp Presi after having been a President with a mind of his own...

N: 6 Congi MPs suspended ...you remember Rajiv too had a Shouting Brigade which went berserk the minute somebody uttered B....anticipating ...Bofors...

M: Yes now Rahul has his shouting Brigade ...

N: Ahluwalia was a Member of Rajiv's Shouting Brigade ...see how dignified he's become after joining BJP... he was in the wrong Party prior to joining BJP ..

M: In the Valley the locals have not heeded the Bandh call of the Hurriyat ..

N: With choking up of funds ...Hurriyat leaders arrested ...the 'protest managers' don't have the incentive to arrange the Bandh...

M: I think the next step in this game plan should be to make the LOC more impregnable... application of Heron Drones ...Satellites ... more remote controlled guns ...

N: What about China ..

M: When China gets into useless banter/ threats... like they called Doval scheming etc....they are definitely interested in a verbal battle than a physical battle ...

N: They've opened so many fronts ....India ..Bhutan.. Japan......Vietnam...Taiwan ...Burma .....S. Korea....Kazakhstan.....Laos.... Brunei.. . Tajikistan.....Cambodia....Krygztan... Malaysia ....Mongolia.....Afghanistan...why it has a dispute with N. Koreatoo....all in territory issues...

M: That's why they say always choose your friends ... with Pakistan as it's most Friendly Nation... what else can you expect from China ...

N: Garam Hawaa..but one thing.... India should make no provocative statements .... keeping 1962 in mind ....

I see my Neighbor off at the Gate.

“Bureaucrats alone responsible for the mess”

The recent conviction of three officers including former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and two serving IAS officers — K S Kropha, former Joint Secretary in the Coal Ministry and now Meghalaya Chief Secretary, and K C Samria, then Director in the Coal Ministry and now Joint Secretary in the Minority Affairs Ministry has sent shockwaves among bureaucrats.

However the question that arises is that are the bureaucrats alone to be blamed for the mess or the political class should also be held responsible ?
