Three days in Parliament to be crucial ?

Three days of the Parliament Session  are going to be crucial, as never before,  in the history of India. The entire GoI is on the alert. Wait and watch.

Who is afraid in J&K?

Who is afraid in J&K with the elaborate arrangements? Sources says only some leaders of political parties are afraid not the general public. One thing is almost certain that the govt likely to to take some decisive steps  soon.

All Government agencies are overactive?

All Government agencies are  now working day and night. It means some major development is going to take place.

RSS to end factionalism in MP BJP ?

Three senior RSS leaders, Krishna Gopal, Suresh Soni and Bhaiyyaji Joshi are believed to have been pressed into service to end factionalism in Madhya Pradesh unit of the BJP.

Kashmir Solution

My friend runs a Carpet Export Business..lives in Delhi but goes to Srinagar very often... sometimes for months... we meet at a Cafe in CP..
Me: So what's the news from the Valley...
Friend: Waadhi se..a lot of speculation...but if you ask me it's high time India took some decisive steps.... you know what  Congress did for decades!!
M: Kept Hurriyat Leaders happy...looked the other way after heinous  terror attacks took place...just maintained status quo with our money and our blood..but what's happening now..
F: I hear first orders were just to stop nefarious activities from Mosques .... Mosques there have become the epicentre of nefarious designs and activities by Wahabi Mullahs.....on Friday Mullahs light fires of rebellion and hope the fires keep spreading till Thursday..
M: But I'm sure now whatever step GOI takes are not  overnight steps or knee jerk reactions...
F: My contacts there tell me Doval was there and he got some very disturbing  inputs....attack on Amarnath Yatris....attacks on specified areas in the Cantonment....the works! 
M: I hear this is the time Troops serving in the Valley are replaced .... but this time the replacements have come but the 'to be replaced' are staying on....must have been decided after Doval's inputs....
F: There is no doubt 'Kashmir solution' was in the works for some time...the Political Parties who have toyed with Kashmir and are actually guilty now cooking up stories...
M: But is there more...
F: Well if India was working on a solution and had a certain time frame in mind for the Kashmir Solution..but viewing Pak's plans  and inputs that in it's  incorrigibilty Pak taking terror to next level... then changes expected in Afghanistan  and Pak's attempts for a Third Party intervention in Kashmir...so

maybe the planners decided ... why not now... 

M: Why not what now...
F: Could be keep enlarged Fauj presence and try to stamp out terrorism... and slowly let Businesses recover...peace ... even enforced ...has it's rewards!!
M: Any other possibility...
F: Trifurcation of the State...or if still BJP thinks the proverbial dog's tail can be straightened ... then election.... NC and BJP Alliance post results... after all NC has allied with BJP at the Centre when Vajpayee was PM..
M: I'm sure if Government takes a step like Trifurcation there will be a lot of strife..
F:  Burhan Wani's funeral saw a turnout of 50000... this would be the max strength of mob if Trifurcation happens...plenty of stone pelting .....but with the Army presence would be easily manageable... but then only if Army is given a free hand and not 'you can't use pellet guns'....'react only to extreme provocation'  or 'use only rifles'...no 'out of the box action like Maj Gogoi's' etc.....and on Diplomatic front India should be like Israel...
M: Army is well armed ... equipped and provisioned...Cops too!! But I note your fingers are crossed... why!
F: Frankly ... if and when some 'surgery' takes place and there is International Pressure hope NDA Government doesn't get bitten by Nehruitis and change to playing to the Gallery and 'stitch up' the unfinished surgery...because then the disease will manifest  into an incurable disease...

We pay the tab and somberly we walk out..

RETIREMENT AGE

There are rumours that the Government of India is all set to increase the age of retirement from the present 60 years to 62 years. While many say that it is a good idea, others are of the view that it will not be good for the jobless youth ? What do you think ? Is raising the retirement age a good idea ?
