Will history be repeated in Karnataka ?

Will Gujarat history be repeated in Karnataka and B L Santosh will return to Karnataka as Chief Minister. BJP watchers said as an Organising Secretary Narendra Modi had gone back to Gujarat as Chief Minister. Now Santosh is Organising Secretary of the BJP and may sooner or later return to Karnataka as Chief Minister.

Will Manmohan Vadiya move to Delhi to replace Krishna Gopal Sharma ?

L: I think Armed Forces need to relook into their selection process for Command... beyond Brigadiare... glaring examples of errors in selection---now is rabidly against BJP...
M: Hear under House Arrest..... Omar has hit the Gym.... Mehbooba ...books.... Farroukh is not under  House Arrest... but I guess he must be practicing  dancing to old Bollywood songs...
L: Marriage season in a few months and he's in demand in Delhi Marriages.....it's like a status symbol ...shaadhi mein Abdullah dancing ... hear Modi is now committed to reviving  the Economy...
M: Already announced huge Infra spend ... now should  do something about three other drivers of Indian Economy.... Real Estate ... Power.... Vehicles ...15  lac sq. ft area is unsold as of today.... Power Sector... lack of fuel linkages have made many Power Projects unviable adding 5 lac crore to Bank NPAs...Vehicles.... huge unsold Inventories...
L: Real Estate... Buyer is without an Asset and Builder with unfinished Project.... Vehicles...Government has huge number of outdated Vehicles... why not replace now...for Junior employees... partly fund 2 wheelers....
M: And why is Nirmala ji so interested in finishing off Savings by reducing Interest rates drastically...
L: If Industry wants Funding.... reduce raising it via Equity Shares... let them go to Banks... or go in for Participatory Preference  Shares....
M: Raising funds via Equity Shares  is preferred by Industry because dividend and bonus are not guaranteed..and in case Company goes  Bankrupt Equity Shareholders might as well not stand in line to reclaim...Participatory Preference Share holders stand relatively in front of line to reclaim...
L: Cyclical wipeouts of Investments  in Shares will stop... Companies  don't get to 'take money and forget' ...which they can do when it comes via Equity Shares..
M: Will finish off Stock Market.... my Broker friends would lynch me if they came to know I was discussing this.
L: Let old Stocks be Traded.... and keep this system for a few years till Companies and Investors turn mature..
M: Investors turn Mature!!!
L: Yes get the Punter mindset out....you have Investors who invest not for getting rich quick...Punter mindset is not good for Stock Markets.....
M: Can the Government do this... Shares would plunge...
L: Of course ...it's  kind of a Growth Stimulus....
M: Ma'am  .... sachchi sachchi bollo... you don't take a tipple early in the morning...
L: Why.... achcha what I said about Shares etc... Utopian idea hai... Nirmala  ji has a huge Buffet of Ideas to chose from .... maybe merre idea mein Spoon maar ke dekhe gi ... say...yeh kya hai.... chalo ingredients tweek  karte hai...1 Equity 2 Participatory Preference shares.....

We have a good laugh and pay our Tabs and walk out...

Is India inching towards Presidential form of Government ?  Whispersinthecorridors had this indication from top bureaucratic circles that there is an apprehension of Presidential form of Government in the country and asked its surfers that will it be viable ?

RETIREMENT AGE

There are rumours that the Government of India is all set to increase the age of retirement from the present 60 years to 62 years. While many say that it is a good idea, others are of the view that it will not be good for the jobless youth ? What do you think ? Is raising the retirement age a good idea ?
