Who is responsible for reported slowdown in India?

Despite drastic cut in Repo rate by the RBI, why India is facing reported slowdown in almost all fields- especially Industrial, Consumer and Electronics products ? On top of this Rajnish Kumar , CMD, SBI said credit demand remains subdued and there is a need for stimulus in the economy. Even Dipak Parekh , Eminent Banker also said about slowdown in economy.. If experts are to be believed, more than 50% PSU  banks are responsible for the present situation. For the last 3-4 years, PSBs are hardly sanctioning loans to real needy and demotivating loan seekers. In the name of search ITD, DRI, ED, Customs & C&E and GSTD also harassed people who had taken loans. They hope that the PM's warning to financial departments is likely to yield some positive results.

Country likely to see major political developments

As per available indication, India is likely to see some major political developments in the 10 to 15 days. During this period possibility of announcement of assembly elections is not being ruled out. Till then wait and watch.

NRC: time limit to increase to 120 days

MHA will amend the rules to increase the present time limit of filing of appeals in Foreign Tribunals from 60 days to 120 days regarding exclusion from final NRC in Assam .  The Citizenship (Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity Cards) Rules, 2003 are also being amended accordingly.

There are rumours that the Government of India is all set to increase the age of retirement from the present 60 years to 62 years. While many say that it is a good idea, others are of the view that it will not be good for the jobless youth ? What do you think ? Is raising the retirement age a good idea ?
