Respected Friend: Targetted for Political Vendetta...is the most misused term... this fellow must have been under IT's scanner for some time...should IT put its investigations on hold just because Gujarat MLAs staying in one of his Property's..its sheer lunacy to say...IT trying to scare the MLAs....

M: I think to keep the Raids a total secret IT must have timed its info sharing or any assistance from the Karnataka Cops ....though the Official line is the Cops were kept in the loop..

RP: What has to be done for secrecy has to be done....political niceties or even standard procedure can be bypassed for the goal.....I heard a piece of News that this Minister was destroying some documents ...question is does he do this regularly..or did he have an inkling of the Raids...

M: IT could have also got info of heavy movement of Cash to and from Resort ...

RF: Like I said hosting MLAs on your Property does not mean that this Property has Amnesty...and raids on 39 Properties doesn't happen without proper investigation and planning ...its not as if the IT Dept acted overnight ...

M: And imagine Congress has openly threatened BJP that tomorrow they could face the same kind of raids ...hinting at scenario if power comes to its hands...

RF: Actually Modi ... Amit Shah and other BJP Leaders were targetted for so many years ...such threats don't matter to them....they've literally passed test of fire......

M: I think Congress knows it's losing the Gujarat RS election and as it's so prestigious they hope their chest beating will hold them in good stead when results are declared ...

RF: The Cash for Votes Party crying foul... it's hilarious...now let's wait for the confirmation from IT what all was recovered ...News Channels say ..10 cr cash plus 10 cr jewellery ...incriminating documents ...semi destroyed papers etc.

RF: Which would today constitute about 20% of India ...80% with Modi ..

“Bureaucrats alone responsible for the mess”

The recent conviction of three officers including former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and two serving IAS officers — K S Kropha, former Joint Secretary in the Coal Ministry and now Meghalaya Chief Secretary, and K C Samria, then Director in the Coal Ministry and now Joint Secretary in the Minority Affairs Ministry has sent shockwaves among bureaucrats.

However the question that arises is that are the bureaucrats alone to be blamed for the mess or the political class should also be held responsible ?
