Whispersinthecorridors asks editorial staff to work from home

Whispersinthecorridors has asked its editorial staff to work from home as an effective step towards Coronavirus prevention. All its editors and desk staff are working from home. Whispersinthecorridors is the only media in  the country which is keeping its surfers informed about the latest developments in bureaucracy and corporate world while others are engrossed with the news flooded on Corona virus alone. It is our endeavour to keep every one informed about the happenings related to governance and we are fulfilling it in the most difficult of times.

Mostly non-BJP ruled CMs opposing lockdown lifting

CMs of Telangana, TN, WB, Punjab, Maharashtra and Bihar are not in favour of lifting the lockdown on May 17. They want it should be extended till May 31. Punjab and Telangana CMs have even extended it till the end of May. CM Yogi has said that UP will follow the Centre's guidelines in this regard.

States not happy with the resumption of Train service

Many Chief Ministers- WB, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha, TN and Telangana- have expressed unhappiness over Central govt's decision to resume train services. They charged that before taking such an important decision, the Centre should have consulted the states. During Video Conferencing with PM, CMs of WB, TN and Telangana had openly opposed the move.

Confusion about Red, Orange and Green Zones

Utter confusion is prevailing about the red, orange and green zones. MHA and Health Ministry have revised the guidelines about three zones but ultimate powers have been given to the States and the District authorities. Many areas in Delhi NCR are under red zones and sealed for the last 25 days. Borders are sealed for the last 15 to 20 days. After HC's rap Haryana agrees to open Delhi border. Now the question is when District Admn has a final then why GoI is issuing guidelines? Despite long containment, cases of COVID still pours in.

Delhi Metro likely to start

Delhi Metro is waiting for the guidelines of Lockdown - 4 set to start from May 18. As per available indications, DMRC is likely to start services during that time with revised boarding guidelines.
