C’garh CM Bhupesh Baghel to launch Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana on May 21
The Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana being launched by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel from May 21 can be seen as a link to the Nyay scheme announced by Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in Chhattisgarh. The implementation of the scheme has also started from Chhattisgarh itself. The Nyay scheme that Congress party had promised to implement in its manifesto is aimed at ensuring basic minimum income availability for the poor through direct bank transfer. Soon after the formation of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, work was started regarding the economic strengthening of farmers, tribals and labourers.
35 cr people slide ‘below poverty line’?
An estimated 35 crore people are whispered to have slid into below poverty line (BPL) losing jobs in lockdown imposed by Government to contain spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Will fighting increase between states ?
In the new guidelines, states have been given powers to unlock Lockdown and now it is feared that there would be more infighting among states. Centre's this decision is being seen as political move. Will it affect politics ? Only time will tell.

An inside story about guidelines !
Why the MHA issued guidelines very late on Sunday ? This question is being asked by many. Now here is the inside story about the delay. According to sources, many CMs wanted liberty in running transport. It is said that the Home Secretary on May 16 had asked states to submit plans as to how they propose to maintain physical distancing norms and law and order if buses, rail, metro trains and flights are allowed to operate. States didn't respond to to HS query till 3.00 P M on May 17. It is said that HS reportedly conveyed this to PMO and ultimately it was decided to stop Rail, Metro and flight services till May end and the responsibility to run the states transport be given to states/UTs.
Border de-sealing : DMs to decide
As predicted, now District Magistrates of Ghaziabad and Noida will decide about the opening of border for public between Delhi and UP, which is closed since April 21. Though UP govt gas adopted almost all MHA guidelines but border issue has been left to the district administration. Now the problem is that Delhi govt has even allowed city buses, autos and other means of transport but their entry will be banned till the DMs decide.
