Home Ministry issues advisory on potential cyber attack by Chinese Army

 

Computer Emergency Response Team-India(CERT-In) of the Ministry of Home has issued an advisory regarding a potential cyber offensive attack from the Chinese Army. In the guise of a Free Covid-19Test, Chinese cyber warriors could be carrying out a massive phishing attack. Watch out for IDs like * ncov2019@gov.in. Beware of Malicious Phishing E-mails/ SMS/ Messages on Social Media inciting you to provide personal and financial information, it says.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chinese imports to be held back in Container Freight Stations ?

 

There are unconfirmed reports that the Govt has asked managers of Container Freight Stations to hold back Chinese imports lying in the stations and not to release them until further orders.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bumper procurement of wheat in Covid-19 period

 

Government agencies have touched an all-time record figure of 382 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) Wheat procured on June 16, 2020 surpassing the earlier record of 381.48 LMT achieved during 2012-13. This has been accomplished during the trying times of Covid-19 pandemic.  Around 42 lakh farmers have been benefited and a total amount of about Rs. 73,500 crore has been paid to them towards Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat.

Questions are being raised by many that why the AYUSH Ministry asked Baba Ramdev to stop sale and advertisement of newly developed Ayurvedic medicine which he claims, cures Coronavirus ? If sources are to be believed, the Ministry reportedly wanted to be associated in the launching ceremony, but Baba ignored and kept launching ceremony in Haridwar. Experts see the Ministry's such act as halting the Ayurveda process. They say that why ministry has not asked the manufacturer for clinical trial reports earlier ?
