Nepal seems ‘too convinced’ by this Chinese ‘soft power’

China's Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi is the trump card being played by China in Nepal as China has already strongly positioned itself in Nepali politics. Previously China’s involvement was confined to development of infrastructure in Nepal but no longer. Hou Yanqi was also earlier posted in Pakistan—a strategic location for China militarily. She convinced Nepal PM K P Sharma Oli to modify Nepal’s map despite some opposition from Oli’s MPs later. If you are allowed to use the word ‘soft power’ in diplomatic terms then –Yes. China has found this Ambassador to meet its strategic goals rather easily in Nepal. Would there be more surprises ? Well…let the time tell this.

One PA of the Minister will be from organisation ?

In order to keep a watch on the Ministers in Madhya Pradesh, it is said that one PA of every Minister will be from the Party Organisation having RSS background.

Why does Mamata keeps changing her stand ?

Political circles are now not surprised by Mamata Banerjee, CM, West Bengal for keeping changing her stands. Two days ago, she did not attend the CM's meeting about Corona and lockdown situation. After two days she decides to attend the all party meet on the Galwan situation called by the PM. She also supports the Centre on the issue.
