In the corridors of power, it is said that country will have a new Law Minister during the next Cabinet reshuffle –cum –expansion.

By-elections  between Sept 10 and 12 ?

Vidhhan Sabha by-elections are expected between September 10 and 12. Official announcement is likely early next month.

Assembly session  or President’s rule in Corona pandemic time ?

Whispering in the corridors is that will the Governor of Rajasthan be allowed to convene the special Assembly session to enable Ashok Gehlot to prove his majority ? Experts say that the country is passing through a critical pandemic stage and Rajasthan too is not an exception. They opine that the whole political crisis was created due to infighting in the ruling party and it’s better that GoI imposes President's rule in the state instead of going for session wherein maintaining social distancing would be a big challenge.
