In all probability, Cabinet expansion cum reshuffle of the Modi Cabinet will take place in August. PM is believed to have already done groundwork for the expansion of the Council of Ministers.

Unlock – three, a mere formality

Though the Country is eagerly waiting for the Centre's guidelines for unlock - 3 scheduled to be effective from August 1, 2020, experts say the new guidelines will only be a formality because now states are taking lock down and unlock decisions in their respective jurisdictions. The centre has given free hand to states. One has to wait whether the centre allows opening of cinema halls and metro trains. However, WB CM has already announced that the state will not allow the functioning of Metro trains and cinema halls. WB CM also wants regular trains services be stopped in Bengal.
