GoI launches ‘Mission Karmayogi’ for Civil Services capacity building

The Government of India has come up with ‘Mission Karmayogi’ a National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) with the following institutional framework:  Prime Minister's Public Human Resources (HR) Council; Capacity Building Commission; Special Purpose Vehicle for owning and operating the digital assets and the technological platform for online training and Coordination Unit headed by the Cabinet Secretary. Mission Karmayogi aims to prepare the Indian Civil Servant for the future by making him more creative, constructive, imaginative, innovative, proactive, professional, progressive, energetic, enabling, transparent and technology-enabled. Empowered with specific role-competencies, the civil servant will be able to ensure efficient service delivery of the highest quality standards.

Facebook and Indian Politics

Facebook's CEO Mark Zukerberg might have had the taste of Indian politics. Congress is not happy with GB, BJP is also an aggrieved party and now the govt of India also seems to be annoyed. That is the political: reason that union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has written a strong worded letter to Zukarberg alleging "Facebook employees are on record abusing the PM". Congress has already asked an explanation from Zukerberg on many points. BJP accused the social media giant of censoring nationalist voices. Everyone is waiting for quick reply or action.

One Agency to probe CDR

One more agency has been involved in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The agency has been asked to probe about Call Details Report (CDR).The agency will also investigate who accessed CDR ? According to experts, only investigative agency can see CDR but in this case it seems some outsiders have reportedly accessed CDR.

Govt printing activities banned due to COVID-19  

The Department of Expenditure has banned activities such as printing calendars, dairies, invitation cards and stressed on promoting digital communication in order to economize in the age of COVID-19.
