Election dates to be announced after September 21

Election dates for Bihar Vidhan Sabha and by-elections are now expected to be announced only after September 21. Reason- PM is likely to announce Bihar package between September 18 to 20.

 

 

 

Another letter expected from dissidents ?

After reorganisation of CWC, dissidents met in Delhi. The meet was attended by 18 of the 23 letter-writers and some new Congress leaders joined. Means another letter bomb expected soon.

 

 

 

 

Group of Ministers to decide the future of OFB

Consequent to the decision of the Government to convert Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), a subordinate office of Ministry of Defence (MoD) into one, or more than one, 100 per cent Government owned corporate entities, the Government has constituted an Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM), under the Chairmanship of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, to oversee and guide the entire process, including transition support and redeployment plan of employees while safeguarding their wages and retirement benefits. Other Ministers in the EGoM are Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister for Law & Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of State for Labour & Employment Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievance & Pension Dr Jitendra Singh. 

 

Parliament to take up 11 Bills

During the first Parliament Session to begin amid Coronavirus pandemic, 11 Bills will be introduced to replace Ordinances. The Zero hour will also be there and un - starred questions will be laid on the tabled.

What suits India ? Democrats or Republicans !

Given the highly transformed present global situation, specially post-Covind days China’s attitude towards the World, what do you think will be in the interest of India – victory of The Republicans or The Democrats in the ensuing US elections. US has nearly 4,402,363, Indian American voters who have always had a soft corner for the Democrats but that was before China being such an eyesore.
