MP By-Elections on October 22 ?

Election Commission is going to announce MP By-Elections  date  on Tuesday. Indications are Polling will start on October 22.

Unlock-5, will local admn follow GoI rules?

Unlock-5  is scheduled to start from October 1 and this period will be full of big festivals, like Navratri, Durga Puja and Dushehra. As per available indications, the central govt is reportedly in favour of more relaxatons but some state govts and their local district administrations are still suspicious to give full freedom. Despite the MHA advisory, the Chhattisgarh govt imposed a week long complete lockdown in 10 districts of the state. Similarly Jodhpur district administration put the city under the three day lockdown from Sept 25. Gujarat govt has already decided not to celebrate the state govt's Navaratri celebrations. It was due to the GoI’s tough decision and the SC's support that the JEE and NEET exams could be held. Opposition tried their level best to postpone the said exams. Now all eyes are on the MHA's guidelines for the fifth phase of Lockdown.

Will LJP contest independently ?

One should not be surprised if Chirag Paswan led LJP goes alone in the Bihar polls. According to sources, Nitish Kumar will never give LJP maximum seats and this could be the reason, junior Paswan  may decide to contest the elections alone. LJP wants more than 140 of the 243 assembly seats in Bihar.

Who is taking PK’s services in Bihar ?

Now Assembly elections in Bihar are round the corner but who is officially taking the services of Prashant Kishore ? He is from Bihar but after exit from JD(U), no other party is giving him much importance. Unofficial sources said that PK is assisting RJD in Bihar but not openly. Only PK can tell, what is the reality ?
