Political watchers say, in Bihar Vidhan Sabha polls Narendra Modi will win and Nitish Kumar will lose. It means, if BJP gets more seats then Sushil Kumar Modi may become Chief Minister instead of Nitish Kumar.

Indo-US relations reach a higher level

Indo-US relations have reached a higher level with US Presidential elections nearing and anxiety over who will be the next US President.

Agri bill, Bihar and Congress

The Nitish Kumar led government introduced the Agriculture Bill in Bihar in 2007. Congress is opposing the said Bill. According to observers, Congress is not going to touch this issue in Bihar polls but BJP and JDU combine will certainly corner the Congress on this issue. One has to wait, what stand RJD takes. Experts opine that Congress and RJD alliance will face tough time on this issue.

DEBATE- Who is a better minister – former IFS or ex-IAS officer?

In the Modi led NDA government, four bureaucrat turned politicians are Ministers. While Dr. S Jaishankar and Hardip Singh Puri – both Rajya Sabha MPs - are retired IFS officers, R K Singh and Arjun Meghwal – both retired IAS officers are Lok Sabha MPs. Now the question that arises is  - who among them – former IFS officers or ex- IAS officers are more result oriented ?

What suits India ? Democrats or Republicans

Hardly makes a difference !

With the US elections drawing to a close, confusion prevails whether Democrats will suit India or Republicans. Given the present warmth in relation between the present heads of both nations – US and India – as never before, opinion is highly divided as to whose victory will be more beneficial for India in the days to come.

whispersinthecorridors.com has asked its surfers, “Given the highly transformed present global situation, specially post-Covind days China’s attitude towards the World, what do they think will be in the interest of India – victory of The Republicans or The Democrats in the ensuing US elections. US has nearly 4,402,363, Indian American voters who have always had a soft corner for the Democrats but that was before China being such an eyesore”.

And  most of them were of the view that it was immaterial that who comes to power in US because in recent years both Republican Presidents like George W. Bush and Democratic ones like Barack Obama have been positive towards India.
