Amidst the ongoing channel war among various news channels in the country, people are at a loss to decide that which is the most favourite of the powers that be in NEW DELHI. The viewers are further perplexed given the fact that News-18 became the first news channel to interview Amit Shah - country’s second most powerful person, after PM Narendra Modi. This was followed by Zee News. Any indication ?

Ministry of Personnel came into being in 1970

Ministry of Personnel has been the brainchild of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then PM, who created the Ministry in question in 1970. Prior to that, there was nothing like Ministry of Personnel and the activities now being looked after by this Ministry used to be disposed off by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
