Is induction of  professionals and bureaucrats in Cabinet, instead of politicians, signaling  going towards the Presidential system ?

Nitish Kumar will lose political power ?

Again we say, “There is a pathological hatred between Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar”. This is evident from the fact that much publicised  reports about JD(U) joining the NDA Government did not materialise. Dream of Nitish Kumar to get power at the Centre  got shattered. In the days to come, Nitish Kumar is going to get “Sugar quoted” dose from PM Narendra Modi. He is already out from the rest of the political parties in the country.

Three veterans  did not attend Oath Taking Ceremony

Three veterans of the BJP, L K Advani and M M Joshi were conspicuous by their absence in the Oath Taking Ceremony. Uma Bharti was also away to Varanasi.

Our predictions came true

Our predictions about Ministers once again came true. As reported in this website, predictions about Smriti Irani,  Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Dharmendra  Pradhan and Uma Bharti proved correct. We had reported that Irani to continue with I&B, Naqvi and Pradhan to be promoted to Cabinet rank and Bharti's portfolio to be changed.

Ideal Rejig...

Today I'm joined by my friend who is a Advisor to a Political Think Tank. We meet at his fav Coffee Shop and over Coffees and Macaroons we get chatting .

Friend: So the Cabinet Reshuffle done with....simply fantastic one ...left the Opposition and Lootens lot in a total tizzy.....they don't know what hit them...

Me: Yup Bureaucrats and MPs with 90+ attendance...only 2 are not MPs... it's performance that's the basic criteria...

F: Nirmala Sitaraman as MOD is a masterstroke ...one more Male Bastion gone ...incorruptible... efficient ..proved her spurs as a Minister  ...very low key....

M: Lootens Media giving their spins .... kept totally in the dark...they remain in the dark on the objectives of her being MOD....mostly because of their biases ...just visualize the huge plus the World over... 15 Nations have Women Defence Ministers ....

F: And how could Modi let Prabhu go..he's technically sound... incorruptible...workaholic  ... keeps a low profile ...so he's got Commerce and Industry... maybe didn't get Defence because he's very thin skinned... Nirmala as a ex Spokesman has the experience to handle criticism!

M: Surely Ganga needed a dynamic Mantri... and got one

..Ghadkari...Uma seemed to be distracted ...

F: Now Lootens Media will rub it into Uma for losing Ganga .....they are egging her on to lose her temper ...

and they are counting the Muslims inducted ...0... yes Naqwi has got Minority Affairs...a good step.... not like Didi who put Temples under the charge of a Muslim....

M: Also they've started saying ....how will Nirmala handle Defence ..what knowledge does she have ... what knowledge did I Gandhi have when she gave herself Defence for a very brief time ...or did Jaitley and Parrikar take tuitions before becoming MOD...

F: Nirmala is not going to hold back... a 100% anti Modi Journo... who in his madness got into a tiff in US during Modi's US visit...got a polite mouth full when he tried to give his spin.... Piyush too has been given a huge responsibility.. efficient ..honest ..low key guy...

M: Laloo taunting Nitish..what did JD (U) get...fool doesn't realise...the message is ....JD (U) went with BJP for honest Governance and not for shallow interests like ..Cabinet Berths ...

F: Laloo can never think straight ...he's seeing the end of his and his Dynasty's Political careers ....

M: Real Woman Power in this Cabinet... MEA...MOD....I&B and Textile Ministers ...2 of them in the CCS  .... and imagine Congress calls BJP anti Women.. . in deeds BJP is the only pro Women Party..

F: This Reshuffle was all about performance ...capabilities ....and eye on the ball ......incorruptible....

M: Had it been Congress.... to qualify for consideration... number of Amul Butter packs used to butter 1st Family ...and then SC/ST/ Religion/ Regionalism / Lobbies ....

F: That is why as Modi reshuffled his Cabinet ... RaGa was reshuffling his wardrobe (now wears Bandh Galas)...

M: As Modi rises to new heights the Gandhi's juggernaut to new lows...

F: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.. the good rise and the bad fall...

Will Modi’s dream of eliminating corruption come true ?

Terming corruption as one of the greatest challenge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for special initiatives to end the menace in the next five years with the pledge of  'Karenge Aur Kar Ke Rahenge' (We will do and surely do). He said the menace of corruption has adversely impacted the development journey of the country and has eaten the polity from the inside but will he be able to accomplish the task ? Can corruption be eliminated in India ?
