Election Commission is likely to de-recognise PDP in J & K following the announcement of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti to raise the Tricolour only after the J&K state flag was restored.

Ministry of Personnel came into being in 1970

Ministry of Personnel has been the brainchild of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then PM, who created the Ministry in question in 1970. Prior to that, there was nothing like Ministry of Personnel and the activities now being looked after by this Ministry used to be disposed off by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
