A brief spell of Governor’s rule is not ruled out in TamilNadu because of some instability after Sasikala comes out of jail in end January with her loyalists crossing over to her side and may even resign from the Cabinet that will include O Panneerselavam - the sulking Deputy Chief Minister who is a TTV Dinakaran loyalist.

Ministry of Personnel came into being in 1970

Ministry of Personnel has been the brainchild of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then PM, who created the Ministry in question in 1970. Prior to that, there was nothing like Ministry of Personnel and the activities now being looked after by this Ministry used to be disposed off by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
