Turmoil in TamilNadu politics after January

The AIADMK party cadre is totally loyal to Ms. Sasikala who is completing her four year term in the jail is likely come out by the third week of January 2021. Her nephew TTK Dinakaran who won the RK Nagar seat two years ago by a massive mandate is meeting all the important leaders in the BJP. As Sasikala is the vote catcher, the Sasikala faction of the AIADMK plus BJP may win enough number of seats to form the next Government in the State.

Ministry of Personnel came into being in 1970

Ministry of Personnel has been the brainchild of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then PM, who created the Ministry in question in 1970. Prior to that, there was nothing like Ministry of Personnel and the activities now being looked after by this Ministry used to be disposed off by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
