If the statement of  former Maharashtra CM Devendra Phadnavis is any indication  that next  swearing-in will take place at the proper time not early morning, the present Maharashtra Government is  on way out.

Over 1700 people ‘gained’ from Roshni Act in J&K

The Roshni Act is going to be a big scam in J&K. The UT administration has disclosed all names on its website. According to it 1,768 persons of all categories have taken land under the said act in the state which was implemented in 2001. The beneficiaries include many bigwigs like Abdullah, Ex- bureaucrats, Politicians, retired officials and judicial officials. Though many, including Abdullah, have denied taking benefit of the said act, scam is said to be to the tune of Rs 25,000 cores.

Farooq Abdullah govt introduced Roshni Act 

According to sources, Farooq Abdullah govt had introduced the controversial Roshani Act in 2001 when he was the CM of the state. The purpose was to give land to poor and landless people concessional rates but the purpose was defeated.
