Is it a show of strength?

In the political circles, farmers agitation is being seen a show of strength of a particular Congress leader. If sources are to be believed the said leader wants to retain his position in the next state assembly election. Even insiders say, that is why only farmers from one state are more agitated whereas the Agri bills are applicable to all states. Farmers of other states do not seems to be much agitated.

Will UK PM be Chief Guest R Day ?

-If sources are to be believed, Boris Johnson, PM, UK is likely to be the Chief Guest in 2021 Republic Day function. It is said that the PM Modi, during his telephonic conversation reportedly extended him the invite. 

Elected Members term extended

The govt has extended the term of elected members of four Cantt Boards for a period of six  more months or till the constitution of new boards. According to information, reason is said to be ‘inability to hold election to Cantonment Boards due to administrative Reason’. These four boards are located at Jammu, Ramgarh, Meerut and Badamibagh. Except Meerut the tenure of three boards was scheduled to expire on December 2. Meerut Cantt Board tenure expires on January 12 next year.
