Should rich farmers be brought under the IT net ?

In the power galleries, discussion is hot about the farmers agitation. Some suggest that farmers are threatening that they can continue to sit- in for six months if their demands are not met. It shows they are well off otherwise an ordinary farmer can not afford it even for a week. Now the time has come that the govt should bring under the IT net those wealthy farmers who are not paying the Income Tax because agriculture income is tax free. Will the government think of these whispering suggestions ?
