TRS likely to disintegrate

The Great Hyderabad Municipal Corporation result is going to change the political equation in Telangana. According to sources, many leaders are reportedly feeling uncomfortable in the TRS because their political career is at stake. Sources said, some leaders may say goodbye to the party in the days to come.

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe has been re-appointed President of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

Bengal CM reminds MHA  about blatant use of power

West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has accused that the MHA is blatantly misusing the emergency provision of IPS Cadre Rule 1954”. Her reaction came after MHA's  fresh letter to the West Bengal government and DGP stating that they have failed to adhere to the rules and according to Section 6 (1) of IPS cadre rules - “in case of any disagreement, the Centre’s decision shall prevail” and asked the state govt to relieve 3 IPS officer for central deputation.
