Lokpal gets three complaints against MPs

A total of three complaints were filed against parliamentarians with anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal between April and December 2020.

GoI announces 7.1% interest for GPF for 4th quarter

The Government of India has decided to carry interest at the rate of 7.1 per cent on GPF and other similar funds in the fourth quarter of FY 2020-21. The Government resolution says that this will be in force from January 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021.

Vaccination likely to start from January 14

As per available indications, the government has almost completed all arrangements to start Covid vaccination drive. According to sources, it is likely to start on January 14. Decision in this regard is likely to be announced on Monday. 

Spectrum auction starts from March 1

The Department of Telecommunication (DoT), under the Ministry of Communication will start the auction of spectrum, from March 1 this year. The auction will be conducted online. Participation can submit applications till Feb 5, 2021.
