KCR’s political neutrality, any reason behind it ?

K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Chief Minister of Telangana, is maintaining political neutrality. Neither is he pro, nor against centre. Is there any significance ?

Is the Cong-DMK alliance on shaky wicket ?

In Tamil Nadu, the proposed alliance between the DMK and Congress seems to  be on shaky wickets. According to sources, the Congress is demanding 50- 55 Assembly seats whereas the DMK is not ready to offer the Congress -  15 seats.

Why is DMK not interested in an alliance with Congress ?

In Tamil Nadu politics, DMK is least interested to have an alliance with the Congress. Sources said that reason behind this, who so ever had alliance with the Congress, could not win the elections. They present example of UP and Bihar. Now the question is why the Congress is eager to have an alliance with the DMK ?

DEBATE : “BABU WORD”

The term ‘babu’ that reeks of the colonial era has been stuck with civil servants and other government officials ever since.

On February 10, PM Narendra Modi has in his Parliament speech, blasted the ‘babu’ culture in the country saying “Sab kuch babu hi karenge”. Earlier in 2016, the IAS Association has condemned the use of the word ‘babu’ and called it ‘abusive’.

Now the question that arises is - Is the use of the word ‘babu’ correct ?
