More media projection of Yogi than Modi ?

People say, these days there is more media publicity of UP CM Aditya Nath Yogi than the PM Narendra Modi. Any significance ?

When MP CM fulfilled his promise !

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan  has fulfilled  his promise by appointing 1984 batch IAS officer A P Srivastava  as RERA Chief. In fact, the CM had about four years ago promissed Srivastava to appoint him as Chief Secretary of the State. When time came he preferred his batch-mate B P Singh and appointed him CS. Meanwhile, Kamalnath Government came to power  and he was moved to the Academy of Administration. Although there were half a dozen contenders for the post of RERA Chief  but he preferred Srivastava despite pulls and pressures from other  contenders.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has  removed Superintendent of Police of Howrah (Rural) Soumya Roy after his wife became a candidate of the ruling Trinamool Congress for the assembly elections in West Bengal.

DEBATE : “BABU WORD”

The term ‘babu’ that reeks of the colonial era has been stuck with civil servants and other government officials ever since.

On February 10, PM Narendra Modi has in his Parliament speech, blasted the ‘babu’ culture in the country saying “Sab kuch babu hi karenge”. Earlier in 2016, the IAS Association has condemned the use of the word ‘babu’ and called it ‘abusive’.

Now the question that arises is - Is the use of the word ‘babu’ correct ?
