Assam Elections and Baghel’s emerging National leadership in Congress

Bhupesh Baghel, who is attributed to have brought revolutionary changes which turned out to be in favour of the Congress party in the Chhattisgarh elections, has emerged as a major leadership in the party's center. After the victorious assembly elections, the Congress party also contested the civic elections based on the face value of Bhupesh Baghel, the people of the state endorsed their trust on him and congress proved its dominance on the majority of the corporations. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel who has successfully led the party to secure 3/4 seats in the 2018 elections. With this very trust and faith, the Congress party has now entrusted the responsibility of Assam elections on Bhupesh Baghel. There are approximately 25 lakh people in Assam who have their direct and indirect relation with Chhattisgarh. There are a large number of such people of Sahu Community, Satnami Community, Kabir Panth, Nishad Community and Goud Community living in Chhattisgarh and have their links with the same. It’s not a big deal for CM Bhupesh Baghel to accomplish trust and confidence of these people, which is why Congress has launched Bhupesh Baghel in Assam Elections. Bhupesh Baghelis leaving no stone unturned for ensuring victory to Congress party in the Assam elections. CM Baghel being an expert leader, has been vested with this crucial responsibility and his expertise is likely to bear fruits for Congress party in Assam elections Whatever the result be, if the Assam seat increases compared to previous years, it is certain that it would lead to further strengthening Congress Party’s trust over Bhupesh Baghel and he will emerge as a strong leadership at the national level within the congress party.

Mysterious silence of Alagiri

In Tamil Nadu, the reported mysterious silence of ex- DMK leader Alagiri is being watched closely. Political observers say that his 'silence is bound to affect the DMK in the Southern TN, especially Madurai area .Alagiri had been expelled from the DMK about two years ago.

Will the PM campaign in TN ?

A million dollar question is that will the PM Narendra Modi campaign in Tamil Nadu also ? In TN, BJP is fighting on only 20 assembly seats and is an important partner of AIADMK led alliance.

Are Thevar voters waiting for a signal ?

Experts say that Late Jailalitha's close aide Shashikala is from Thevar caste and has a good impact on her community.
