Suspense over PK working for Cong. in Punjab polls !

The announcement of Political strategist Prashant Kishor that he will not continue with his present work (of an analyst) for long has left Captain Amarinder Singh worried, say party insiders . With Assembly elections in Punjab due in 2022, Kishor, sources say, has already begun his Chandigarh operations in mid-March this year. Now with his latest announcement to quit the job of election strategist, there is a suspense whether he will work for the Congress in Punjab.

Why the Left Front (LF) drew blank in West Bengal ?

Sworn to secular politics and a communist ideology, it did the unthinkable by tying up with the Indian Secular Front  - led by the cleric Abbasuddin Siddiqui, leaving the voters confused whether the Left Front was trying to go after Mamata by splitting the minority vote or contesting the BJP’s alleged communal agenda. And this confusion led to a desertion of the Left Front by Hindu and Muslim voters as well.
