Yoga Guru Ramdev withdraws his remarks at the behest of Health Minister

Yoga Guru Ramdev has, after the Indian Medical Association (IMA) demanding legal action  against him, withdrawn his remarks on allopathic medicines after the intervention of the Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan. Citing a video circulating on social media, the IMA had on Saturday claimed that Ramdev had misled people by making “unlearned” statements against allopathy and defamed scientific medicine. However, these remarks were later dismissed as “false” by the Haridwar-based Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust. Infact Harsh Vardhan said that Clarification not enough, withdraw statement.
