My Friend is an Economist and works for a International Bank. We meet at a Pandara Road Dhaba and get chatting over Rajma Chawal with a special Anardaana Chutney.

Friend: What a speech Sushma gave in the UN...Pakistan ka toh dabaa goll karr diya..

Me: She's a fantastic Orator as it is ...and what a finale..May all be happy; May all be healthy; May all see what is good; May all be free from suffering....its a Sanskrit Shloka...

F: And back home Congis would be saying : May all overlook the foolishness of our Yuvraj...

M: He tried to grab credit for Sushma's statement ...that we produce Doctors....Engineers and Scientists ... saying it's because of the IITs and IIMs set up by Congress Governments ..

F: And see the irony...Congress set up IITs and IIMs  and today Congress is being led by .... someone whose Degree..intelligence ...are all in doubt... and by the way seems he's oblivious ....who he terms as Visionaries ....they set up...16 IITs in 67 years.....our 'Chaiwala' has set up ...7 IITs in 3 years.

M: See how they Choregraphed his US trip... first choregraphed interactions ....now his Twitter following has shot up overnight..

F: There are 'Agencies' that sell Handles of all Nationalities ...and if needed for a price can Favorite all the Customers Tweets...

M: Must be used by ... Politicians... Filmstars... Corporates... etc.

F: I think Congress takes all of us to be a pack of fools who can't see their games..

M: And now you have Presstitutes terming his trip as a success ..

F: Ha ha ...its like khaaya peeya kuch nahi glass thoda aat aana..

M: So what is your take on Fuel prices...

F: To be fair... when there was a windfall on account of fall in global prices Government increased Excise Duty and used the money for the Nation ...this 'windfall' kept our Deficit in check...but now it's time to revert to the old Duty rate.. it's only fair...

M: Its akin to a Dad linking his Son's pocket money to inflation... when inflation fell he cut his pocket money.. . but he's refusing to increase his Pocket Money after inflation has gone up..

F: What will the kid do other than rebel...

M: Now we have Lootens Economists decrying the Loan Waiver to Farmers... their views are being aired by a Channel that has run up huge debt itself  ...not usual for a Media House ...

F: Yeah... I heard the Debate...  if Government spent the Loan Waiver Funds on Rural Infra etc., would take time to benefit Farmers ...the need is today..  on account of Farmer suicides...and by the way which Corporate Honcho has committed suicide because of humongous debt..in fact more the debt more lavish is their lifestyle ..Lootens Economists ..ha ha ..ha

M: Why do you laugh at the term ....Lootens Economists

F: Economists are like Lawyers ..they can argue both for and against ...equally well...had UPA been in power and if it had done a Farm Loan Waiver this very lot of Lootens Economists would be praising Sonia as the new Mother Teresa ...

M: I personally feel Modi has some aces up his sleeve and he's going to time 'serving these aces'...

F: Yup...  timing is very important ... and I am sure when he does ...it will be Game..Set and Match BJP.

We pay the tab... pick up Sauf and Mishri and walk out laughing .
