Will Scindia contest Lok Sabha election from Indore ?
This time Jyotiraditya Scindia is unlikely to contest Lok Sabha election from Gwalior or Guna but from Indore. Scindia has a strong base in Indore and his frequent Indore visits have fuelled speculations to this effect.
Cabinet expansion soon after return of President ?
There is again going to be a surprise. Much awaited Cabinet expansion is expected to take place soon after the return of President Ram Nath Kovind from Kanpur on June 30. Meanwhile, several names have been floated in the media for induction into the Cabinet but in reality speculation.
Task Force set up to guide operationalisation of Mission Karmayogi
The GoI recently approved the ‘National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building- - Mission Karmayogi’ to effect a transformational shift from rule-based training to role-based capacity development of all civil services. To effectively roll out this competency driven mission, a SPV, named Karmayogi Bharat, would be set up. A Task Force comprising leading experts would be set up to draw a road map for guidance of Karmayogi Bharat. The Chairperson of Task Force will be S D Shibu Lal, Founder and ex-CEO Infosys, while Govind Iyer, Consultant, Egon Zehnder and Pankaj Bansal, Co-founder & Group CEO, PeopleStrong, will be its members. Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman Designate, Capacity Building Commission, DoPT, will be a special invitee.
