How long Rahul Gandhi will control Congress Party ?

Still the Congress party is confused. Now there is a big cry from the party loyalists as to how long back-seat driving of Rahul Gandhi will continue ? Now it’s also a big question mark whether Rahul Gandhi will become leader of the Congress Party in Lok Sabha. He may take this responsibility.

 Farmers agitation failed to stop BJP surge in UP

 In the recently held local bodies (Zila Panchayat) elections, the ongoing farmers agitation could not stop BJP. The party bagged 66 seats out of 75. BJP won maximum seats in the Western UP, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Saharanpur and Bulandshahr, from where farmers leaders Rakesh and Rajesh Tikait belong. This BJP victory is bound to affect the farmers agitation.

MPs, MLAs barred from holding MD post in UCBs

 Parliamentarians, Legislators, and members of Municipal Corporations or other local bodies have been barred by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) from holding the office of Managing Director (MD) or Whole-Time Director (WTD) in Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs).
