D.K. Joshi, who resigned as naval chief in 2014  has been appointed new lieutenant governor of Andaman and Nicobar.

Army man is new Governor  of Arunachal Pradesh

Brigadier B.D. Mishra, will replace P.B. Acharya as new Governor  of Arunachal Pradesh.

Rane floats his own party

Narain Rane, a senior leader in Maharastra, ultimately floated his own political party. He recently resigned from the Congress party. As reported in this website that there was no taker for Rane in Maharastra.

15 lacs vasool

I take the 5.13 Fast from Churchgate to Andheri. My Train Buddies Amar,  Akbar and Anthony are waiting  for me .....usual seat in the usual compartment. The mood is very sombre and today on mutual agreement ...no snack.

Amar: 22 lives lost ... really Suburban Trains are saved by a miracle everyday... see the burgeoning passengers...at one time used to be easy to get into 1st class ... now 1st class is like the old 2nd class and 2nd class is a can of sardines ... sweat is the brine!!

Akbar: BJP Government is to blame..they have money for Bullet Train and Shivaji Statue...not for safety!

Me: Why ...why do you guys indulge in this kind of scavenging ... the Bullet Train... no expenditure for 15 years... so no money used ....so no funds diverted .... and Shivaji Statue is not from Railway's Budget.

Antony: But I feel Government is being lax...

Amar: Arre Chariya ( stupid in Sindhi).. this Government has been in power for 3 years and in 3 years this Bridge's reconstruction was on the Cards and Budget was approved by Prabhu...   why did this not take place when Laloo was RM.... and do you know 3 previous UPA RMs  facing corruption charges ...

Me: And see the perverseness of Presstitutes... this tragedy is being attributed to BJP and stupidly to Bullet Train and Shivaji Statue..in 2006 a Foot Bridge collapsed killing 47 in Bhagalpur and the very same Media called it a 'freak accident'!!

Amar: This was an accident because of circumstances ... 4 trains arrived together on separate platforms...it was raining cats and dogs..the Bridge is still standing ... the inadequacy of the Bridge and panic caused the stampede...

Akbar: Why hasn't Modi gone to meet the families of the deceased ..

Amar: Fadnavis cut short his Singapore trip and reached Mumbai... Piyush Goyal on Dusshera summoned top Officials to discuss and formulate action ...and a number of decisions taken to improve safety ...

M: Modi's RM is doing the needful...and if Modi went ...next demand would be Modi take responsibility and resign..this is how stupidly some react!!! Even RaGa who is on perpetual Tragedy Tourism has not gone and Piyush is already on the job...that is the difference between... doing ones job and doing drama!! And by the way Modi keeps his word..always!!

Antony. Who says... I have still not got 15 lacs in my account..

Me: He had used a parable to tell us that there is so much money held by Indians overseas that if its brought back 15 lacs could be deposited in every Indians account... the aim was to show the quantum of money held by Indians overseas..

Amar: Pann merre 15 lac toh already vasool ho chukke hai...when Zakir Naik left the country and ran away, his property worth crores was seized, which will be used for country. By demonetization when 500 and 1000 rupee notes of separatists turned into scrap and Dawood's Financer committed suicide by jumping from the tower. When Farzi Babas like Ram Raheem and Rampal got jail. When Dawood's property worth 35,000 crores in Dubai and 42,000 crores in London was seized. When NIA linked funding to separatists with  Pakistan. When the dead bodies of militants started piling up. When meat businessman Moin Quraishi was put in jail. When Sadhvi Pragya was released. When the patriot Colonel Purohit was released from jail. When the missionaries and NGOs spreading anarchy using foreign funds, were nailed. When voice for ousting Rohingya Muslims living in India was raised by this government. When the plight of Muslim women was taken up by this Government. When the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers started worshiping Navratri instead of attending Iftars  or hiding themselves. When China retreated 'Dokalam'. Apart from these 15 achievements, 115 can be counted. Not even a scam. There is no political or economic scandal. So much more ....my 15 lakhs have been recovered out of the afore mentioned  and whatever comes ahead will be interest and bonus...

The Train passes Elphinstone Station and we all become sombre.

Akbar: When will innocent people stop dying..

Me: Don't know about this....but if only we did not politically or religiously scavenge post such tragedies... we'd then stand by the affected to reduce their pain. And give our inputs constructively...after all we are the ones on the spot...
