Gujarat polls a prestige issue

Gujarat polls would be a prestige issue for the BJP as both the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shah belong to the State. The biggest issue will not be whether BJP wins the polls in Gujarat, it will be on whether it has been able to retain all its Assembly seats won in the last Assembly polls.
UP to decide Indian politics
Of all the political battles, Uttar Pradesh remains and will be the biggest political ground for battle for decades to come. It does not matter if it is not the parliamentary polls right now ; the record of the ruling BJP regime in Governance in Uttar Pradesh will decide who gets those crucial seats to form the Government at the Centre in 2019 and not the record of Governance of any other State. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has a bigger responsibility for his party to ensure victory in the parliamentary polls in 2019 by the way he runs the show in Uttar Pradesh during the next one year.

Now next Diyas turn....
My Neighbor... who is a retired Senior Cop...drops in for a Cuppa. Over Coffee and Mithais we get chatting.
Me: ( Offering him Mithai)... Diwali Mubaraq...
Neighbor: Aap ko bhi Diwali Mubaraq.... bahut bahut Shubkaamnay.... Happy Diwali... Balle Balle...
M: Wow ...what a Secular Diwali Greeting... Musalmaano ki Mubarak... Hindus ki Shubhkamnaay... Christians ki Happy ..and merre liye Balle Balle..
F: But mind you only Hindus and Sikhs will accept such a secular greeting...
M: Yup... try wishing a Muslim Eid ki Shubhkaamnay... or a Christian ....Christmas Mubarak... they will blow a fuse... though the greetings is Shubh or Auspicious...
N: In the past just Eid and Christmas were celebrated by the Dispensation of the day....now for a change...its Diwali!!
M: I hear Yogi ji is going to light a record number of Diyas in Ayodhaya..
N: Lo gayi bhains paani mein... next year the Pseudos will try to get Diyas banned...their Modus Operandi... first Psuedos start questioning a practice ..then they get some conjured data that bolsters their line of thinking ...then their friendly Media steps in... then they approach Court..
M: (Offering Mithai) Please tuck in and enjoy Mithai while you can because after Diyas it will be Mithai...
N: Just wondering... why for Gurdaspur BJP did not pick Vinod Khanna's Widow...
M: Maybe had a wish to loose ....I too am very perplexed... more perplexed about the choice BJP made....
N: For Delhites health shouldn't the real culprits be tackled.... Construction Malba Dust... DG Set exhaust...Road dust ....Stubble burning ....
M: Chalo SC ne Band Aid lagaa diya... ronna-dhonna bandh karra diya...though funnily the air quality worsens...
N: By the way I marvel at Congress's aptitude... its made a Defence Agent into a Part-time Travel Agent ...cum Interior Decorator..
M: Wow ... very much like Bhabi ji and your's truly's wife have made us into Fetch Boys... Dog Walkers ....
We have a good laugh and I see my Neighbor off at the door.
