With a chain of recent developments triggering speculations of a rift between the TMC chief Mamata Banerjee and her heir apparent Abhishek Banerjee, the buzz around in the Bengal’s political circles is that the former is out to cut her Nephew down to size.

TMC parting ways with Prashant Kishore ?

Growing rift between Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool and political strategist Prashant Kishore's political outfit I-PAC have come to such a pass that it has reportedly prompted the West Bengal Chief Minister to call a meeting of the party's top leaders on Saturday to take a final call. The meeting comes amid rising resentment within the TMC against I-PAC and reports of a discord between Ms Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek - the main liaison between the TMC and the I-PAC.
