‘Opposition coalition’ against BJP – an uphill task !

The entire opposition including the Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and, of course, West Bengal Chief Mnister Mamata Banerjee – to start with – are cobbling up together to get rid of the BJP and send it packing in the next general elections. But how long will this coalition work ? Already the Congress and the Left is not in their scheme of things.

Will RCP Singh continue as Union Minister after July ?

Grapevine has it that a section of the top JD (U) leadership in Bihar is baying for RCP Singh’s blood.  He will likely have a tough time getting re-elected to the Rajya Sabha when his term expires on July 7 this year. This section of JD(U) is said to be against him since he accepted the berth in the Modi Cabinet which was previously rejected by the JD (U) chief, Nitish Kumar. Singh has also supported the BJP on several controversial issues and bills in Parliament.
