Daily wagers are in great demand these days in poll bound states. Not because of any boom in construction projects but because political parties are hiring them as their workers in various poll gatherings to ensure maximum crowd. They are even being hired to participate in road shows and motorcycle rallies. Many common faces can be seen in the road shows of the rival political parties as well.

‘Malwa’ to offer a decisive edge in Punjab ?

Since electorally significant Malwa region of Punjab accounts for the majority of Assembly seats, 69 out of the total 117, in the state, a majority stake in the region invariably determines the composition of the next government. And this is the reason all parties in the fray are trying to impress the voters the most making tall promises.
