TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is keeping West Bengal politics simmering while making it clear to the BJP that it’s not easy for the saffron party to challenge her in her fort.The firebrand Chief Minister may be  having Central ambitions once again in joining an alliance to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls while handing over the Chief Minister’s seat to a trusted party MLA. The BJP had been trying very hard to get its footing firmer in West Bengal which locals say isn’t easy considering the fact that there had been no national leader from the BJP for decades who would appeal to a larger segment of people in West Bengal as in case of Mamata Banerjee. However, politics is like weather. You can't make accurate predictions.

There was a big surprise in the political, bureaucratic and media circles of the capital that what was the urgency that the Home Minister made the announcement about of the Interlocutor for J&K.
