This is History (2078)

People never lie so much as after a hunt, during a war or before an election.

Punjab’s ‘Malwa’ wants accountable govt, responsible Opposition

Brisk polling was witnessed in all districts of the Malwa region of Punjab comprising 69 of the total 117 Assembly segments in the state. While the general mood witnessed at various places in the entire belt was for change, majority voters were heard saying, “We want an accountable government and a responsible Opposition”.

Did AAP fail to bring out its voters ?

Looking into the 69.65 per cent turnout - lowest since 2007 - in Punjab, particularly low in areas where Aam Aadmi Party claimed to have a solid support base have left the party bosses amazed. The constituencies which had sitting MLAs from AAP - all showed a dip in polling, ranging from 2.3 per cent to over 9 per cent. Did AAP failed to bring out its voters ?
