Vijayvargiya’s presence in Uttarakhand ahead of state poll results creates stir

BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya’ s presence in Uttarakhand ahead of Assembly poll results on March 10 has created a stir in state politics. Reason, Vijayvargiya- the alleged mastermind of the massive rebellion in the Congress, in 2016, has played an important role in the politics of Uttarakhand when nine Congress MLAs revolted against Harish Rawat’s government. Some exit polls have predicted a close contest between the BJP and the Congress in Uttarakhand, this time.

Does the country requires several investigative agencies to deal with economic offences ?

The buzz around is that “CDS” like post - as in Defence  - is in the offing to have a control over all the agencies dealing in economic offences. They include CBI, ED, DRI,CEI and FIU. The Modi Government  had already surprised the defence services by creating the post of “CDS”. Will it be fruitful ?
