Old timers say when late Indira Gandhi joined politics she was a novice in oratory but within five years she picked  up her political skills very soon. Same thing was with late Rajiv Gandhi and now  history is being repeated in the family.

BJP not paying much attention to HP

According to sources, BJP is reportedly not giving much attention to HP assembly elections. Is it over confident ? Only high command can clarify ?

J&K CM to keep charge of Information Dept with herself

J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will keep charge of Information Department, J&K with her.

National Anthem..

My Respected Friend, a Retired Senior Bureaucrat,  is still in Delhi and today we meet at Kake da Dhaba in CP and over Butter Paneer and Dal Makhani...both cooked Peshawari style ... and crisp Rotis we get chatting.

Me: This is what happens when two immature people are at the helm of affairs and they negotiate...

Respected Friend: Really comical..  they met and there is ample proof they met in Room 224 of the Hotel... and Hardik says that he did not meet the RaGa and RaGa is mum and his aides say they met Hardik!

M: Hardik not able to answer ...what was in the black suitcase!!!

RF: Its pretty obvious..... don't know if it was down payment ...or meeting fee... the suitcase could have been delivered later....or is Congress's credibility so low ...that Hardik wanted COD..Cash On Discussion!!

M: Yeah he is putting his credibility at stake meeting RaGa....

RF: They can play all the games they want ...BJP will get 115-125 seats in Gujarat...

M: Himachal too going the BJP way....

RF: Government going in for Recapitalization of Banks... it was done in 1990 but the leaks were not plugged then...

M: I feel Banks feel 'they can get away with reckless lending'!!!

RF: Mallya case exemplifies reckless lending ...corruption and Government interference in Banking...

M: Like MMS's.. we have to save KF.... still resonates!! And orders from Delhi to Banks... Hold Corporate Loan Melas for so and so Corporates...or restructure so and so loans....

RF: Well in 6 months of Recapitalization we will get indications about the leakages..there could be  spate of loans and/or restructuring of loans.....and when it comes to pay back time of the Recapitalization Bonds...... I feel if Modi is in power Government will not need to do what was done with 1990 Bonds..the Bonds were converted into Government Securities...

M: The Roads & Highways  push is fantastic.... will generate huge jobs...and I hear Government too going to fill up many posts ......job scenario going to improve...

RF: Love the way Modi replies to his detractors... some who cross all limits of decency

... he responds... and India and Indians benefit in the bargain...

M: Why all this hullabaloo about the National Anthem...

RF: Imagine the Pseudo lot using Bollywood to question the Anthem... we teach our kids not to be like these Bollywood Stars... to be wary of their ways...and they are justifying that Anthem should not be played in Movie Halls...

M: In fact with all the crap that Bollywood dishes out the Anthem is like a shot of sanity ...acts as a vaccination against the stupidity the cinema-goer is going to be exposed to...

RF: Coming back to Gujarat ...if you see the Religion and Caste Engineering Congress is trying to do ...you realize how safe Gujarat is in BJP's hands. 

M: Outcome of Gujarat election is known... but BJP seats outcome depends on RaGa's exposure... more rallies he addresses...more seats BJP will get....directly proportional !!!

RF: And for Congress inversely proportional........more Rallies of RaGa lesser seats for Congress.....

We have a good laugh..pay the tab and walk out.
