Rahul fails to get political mileage of allegations against Modi

For the last seven years, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi leveled various charges, from inflation to corruption, from personal to political, against the PM and the NDA government, but he could not politically encash a single charge and the party lost elections  after elections during this period. It is said that some dissenters were reportedly also not happy with Gandhi's wild allegations, which he could not substantiate and this led to the party's bad image.

 

 

 

Only two votes in India- one for and other against BJP

Many political pundits have said that Arvind Kejriwal would emerge as the third alternative in 2024. The same was said about Mamata Banerjee after the Bengal polls. However, there are some observers who feel there are only two votes in the country—the one for and the other against BJP. The Opposition against BJP could include AAP, TMC, Congress or any other party and there is no scope for a Third Front.

Does the country requires several investigative agencies to deal with economic offences ?

The buzz around is that “CDS” like post - as in Defence  - is in the offing to have a control over all the agencies dealing in economic offences. They include CBI, ED, DRI,CEI and FIU. The Modi Government  had already surprised the defence services by creating the post of “CDS”. Will it be fruitful ?
