Is the Minister not getting support?

In power galleries rumours are high that one Central Minister is reportedly not getting required support from the Ministry. What could be the reason, only higher ups can throw the light?

How is Chief Secretary appointed in State?

The Chief Minister is authorized to appoint the Chief Secretary in the state. Though political compulsions and pressure tactics work in the appointment, in most of the cases recommendation of the sitting Chief Secretary carries a weight and the Chief Minister goes by his advice.

Does the country require several investigative agencies to deal with economic offences ?

The buzz around is that “CDS” like post - as in Defence  - is in the offing to have a control over all the agencies dealing in economic offences. They include CBI, ED, DRI,CEI and FIU. The Modi Government  had already surprised the defence services by creating the post of “CDS”. Will it be fruitful ?
