Preparation for 2024 LS polls start

If sources are to be believed, the NDA government has reportedly started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. It is said that ministries and departments have been given tasks to prepare a list of achievements.

Will BJP now implement Uniform Civil Code ?

As BJP enjoys majority in both the Houses of Parliament, it remains to be seen whether it will now go ahead with implementing Uniform Civil Code which has been a key agenda of the ruling party and was included in 2019 Lok Sabha poll manifesto along with Ayodhya Ram Temple.

Does the country require several investigative agencies to deal with economic offences ?

The buzz around is that “CDS” like post - as in Defence  - is in the offing to have a control over all the agencies dealing in economic offences. They include CBI, ED, DRI,CEI and FIU. The Modi Government  had already surprised the defence services by creating the post of “CDS”. Will it be fruitful ?
