Who will be the Vice President of India? Naqvi or Gehlot?

Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has been denied a Rajya Sabha ticket. Now speculation is being a Muslim face, he may be appointed Vice President of India. Other sources however said that Karnataka Governor Chand Gehlot Thawar who had been the leader of Rajya Sabha is likely to be appointed Vice President. Will it be Rahul Gandhi versus Narendra Modi in 2024 parliamentary polls ?

Given the fact that the Congress and the rest of the opposition are unlikely to join hands to face the ruling BJP and a recent survey claiming that here has been a steep downfall in the polularity ratings of both Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, is there any possibility of Lok Sabha 2024 elections being a direct contest between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi, as the Congress party claims.
