Pak diplomats happy to see back of Imran

Pakistani diplomats across the world are happy with the abrupt change in the Government of their home country even though the new government is even more unstable. Former PM Imran Khan often used to give his diplomats a dressing down in an undiplomatic language. Before his last address to the ambassadors as PM, he had suspended one senior ambassador for failing to do his job, the first priority of which is to serve the expatriate community. He accused the entire Pakistani diplomatic corps of having a ‘colonial mindset’ and of displaying ‘shocking callousness’ in dealing with their fellow citizens living abroad. As a final insult, he had accused them of being “even worse than Indians”.

In the ensuing Rajya Sabha elections cross-voting is expected in the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Rajasthan.

ED has reportedly issued fresh summons to Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in National Herald case. They have called next week in ED 's Delhi Zonal office. The agency had earlier filed a case against both the leaders.

Will it be Rahul Gandhi versus Narendra Modi in 2024 parliamentary polls ?

Given the fact that the Congress and the rest of the opposition are unlikely to join hands to face the ruling BJP and a recent survey claiming that here has been a steep downfall in the polularity ratings of both Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, is there any possibility of Lok Sabha 2024 elections being a direct contest between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi, as the Congress party claims.
