In Delhi political circles, people believe that instead of joining any political party Varun Gandhi may contest the next Lok Sabha election as an independent candidate. One can wait and watch.

Given the fact that the Congress and the rest of the opposition are unlikely to join hands to face the ruling BJP and a recent survey claiming that here has been a steep downfall in the polularity ratings of both Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, is there any possibility of Lok Sabha 2024 elections being a direct contest between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi, as the Congress party claims.
