The ED quizzed Rahul Gandhi for three consecutive days but except few Congress men and limited regional parties, the party could not garner public support. Even so called G-23 leaders chose not to speak. And that is the reason Congress could not oppose the Government action.

Date for Presidential Election declared

The Election Commission of India has revealed the schedule for the Presidential Election, 2022: June 29, 2022, as the last date for making nominations; June 30, 2022, as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; July 2, 2022, as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures; and July 18, 2022, as the date on which a poll, if necessary, shall take place.
