CMs of BJP-rules states eager to invite Prez

Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states are very eager to invite President Ram Nath Kovind for inaugurating some or the other event in their states. It seems most of them are waiting to hear some appreciation about them from the President publicly to send a signal to the BJP's Central leadership that all is well with their governance in their respective states.

Going by the trends, it seems there will be no change in the chief ministerial candidates of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during Assembly polls next year. The BJP’s Central leadership despite several hiccups seems to be satisfied about Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Raman Singh to be chief ministerial candidates for their fourth terms as CMs during the Assembly polls slated in 2018.

Whose day will be a hit ?

Demonitisaton is going to complete one year on November 8 (today). Both sides - govt as well as opposition - will observe it in its own way. All eyes will be that whose day will be a success.

Congress revival hinges on Nehru Gandhi family

The Congress, run by the Nehru-Gandhis as a dynastic behemoth, is facing a leadership crisis like never before. The fears that the party may fragment without a dynastic head also cannot be discounted as only a member of Nehru Gandhi family can bring ‘Some Unity among Congress leaders’ so vital for the revival of the Congress.

Looking at the present state the Congress party is in, Whispersinthecorridors.com tried to elicit the views of its surfers on – Who can revive the Congress ? – and though different people had different opinion and gave the names of several leaders other than those from the Nehru-Gandhi family, one thing which majority of them felt was that UNITY was the first requirement for the revival of the Congress.

And since Unity among Congress leaders - which alone can turn the tables in the next elections - will be totally extinct in the absence of a ‘Gandhi’, only a member of Nehru Gandhi family can revive the Congress party.
